We are seeking a dedicated professional to fill the role of In-Work Support Mentor. As a vital member of our team, you will play a key part in helping individuals maintain sustainable employment outcomes.


Key responsibilities include ensuring each participant's individual needs and aspirations for employment are at the center of your focus, providing tailored post-placement and on-the-job support to participants, and mentoring participants to help them overcome workplace or personal barriers.

As an In-Work Support Mentor, you will be working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure participants have the support they need to thrive in their roles and achieve their employment goals.


Requirements
  1. Ensure each participant's individual needs and aspirations for employment are at the center of your focus
  2. Provide tailored post-placement and on-the-job support to participants to help them maintain sustainable employment
  3. Mentor participants and offer specialised assistance to address workplace or personal barriers
  4. Actively engage with the local community, industries, and stakeholders to identify growth and revenue opportunities
  5. Monitor placement progress and outcomes and communicate any risks to relevant team members
  6. Run and analyse participants' reported hours and income, supporting accurate reporting and compliance
  7. Maintain clear and compliant records of participants ongoing employment, services provided, and participant support
  8. Communicate proactively with team members regarding any job loss, potential job loss, or significant reduction in hours, and act quickly to resolve issues
  9. Represent and promote the organisation at networking events and within the community, upholding the Mission, Vision, and Values
