We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Associate to contribute to innovative cancer research. The successful candidate will collaborate with industry partners to develop new chemistry for radiopharmaceuticals, engaging in inorganic synthesis, radiochemical research, and bioconjugation methodologies.
- Conduct Advanced Research: Engage in the design, synthesis, and characterization of novel radiolabelled compounds, leveraging expertise in inorganic and organic synthesis.
- Contribute to Publications: Prepare high-quality research reports and manuscripts for submission to top-tier journals.
- Collaborate and Communicate: Foster strong relationships with industry partners and participate in research seminars and conferences to share knowledge and stay up-to-date on the latest advancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Student Supervision: Assist in training and mentoring students in laboratory techniques, primarily at the undergraduate level.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field, with a strong background in inorganic and organic synthesis.
- Demonstrated experience in synthesizing, purifying, and characterizing complex organic molecules for metal ion complexation.
- A proven track record of publishing high-impact research in relevant areas, commensurate with experience.
