Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Payroll and Rostering Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will ensure seamless payroll and rostering processes for our workforce.
About the RoleThis full-time position requires strong proficiency in payroll administration and rostering, preferably in a healthcare shift setting. You will be responsible for managing payroll systems, coordinating rosters for clinical, care, hotel, and admin teams, and ensuring compliance with organisational and legislative standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Payroll Management: Administer payroll systems and processes, ensuring accurate and timely payments for the entire workforce.
- Rostering Coordination: Develop fortnightly rosters in collaboration with silo managers, incorporating recommendations from RN Clinical Leaders to meet clinical care needs, skill mix, and acuity requirements.
- Compliance and Reporting: Maintain compliance with WHS, risk management, and legislative standards; prepare CGRT monthly reports for the board; and update the Quality Document Management System (QDMS).
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with clinical teams, silo managers, and the CGRT to provide guidance on payroll and rostering systems.
- Proven Experience: In payroll administration and rostering, preferably in a healthcare shift setting.
- Skills and Qualifications: Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word), report writing for corporate documentation, exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, high-level organisational and time management skills, and a demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Mandatory Requirements: Current Police Check, ASIC Check, and Statutory Declaration.
