About this Role
  • You will support management of regulatory obligations, including financial services laws and licensing requirements.
  • Oversight of ACL and AFSL obligations is also part of your responsibilities.
  • The AML/CTF program requires regular monitoring, reporting, and policy management through your contributions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and assess compliance risks across business functions and lending strategies.
  • Assist in assurance activities, control testing, and developing compliance plans with business units.
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports on compliance risks, issues, and breaches.
  • Support internal audits and regulatory reviews.
Your Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a Risk and Compliance role within non-bank lending or related sectors is required.
  • Strong knowledge of ASIC regulations and Australian financial regulatory environments is essential.
  • A solid understanding of consumer credit laws, including the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009, is necessary.
  • Familiarity with AML/CTF compliance requirements, AFSL, and ACL licensing frameworks is a must.
  • Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements with high attention to detail.
  • Experience using GRC systems is highly valued.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for success.
  • Independent work and team collaboration skills are equally important.
