At the forefront of clinical research, we are seeking an accomplished Clinical Research Director to spearhead our efforts in managing clinical investigators and sites involved in various trials. This role is pivotal in ensuring the timely delivery of clinical trial enrollment, effective issue management, and seamless inspection readiness.

The successful candidate will be responsible for comprehensive investigator and site management, leveraging valuable insights and tools to inform strategic decisions. Strong relationships with global clinical trial sites will be crucial in driving an unparalleled customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Investigator Management:
    • Accountable for all activities required at clinical trial sites, including site identification, qualification, enrollment planning, execution, database lock, and close-out.
    • Responsible for identifying opportunities to accelerate trial enrollment while prioritizing a high-quality clinical trial/customer experience.
    • Develops and maintains strategic institutional/site relationships to optimize clinical trial programs across therapeutic areas.
  • Clinical Trial Management:
    • Develops and implements risk plans to ensure timely delivery of clinical trial commitments and database locks.
    • Ensures site and country-level inspection readiness at all times.
    • Leverages metrics to inform decision making at site/country/regional levels.
    • Collaborates with internal and external teams to address barriers to trial execution.
    • Understands local treatment paradigms and standard of care to support targeted feasibility and strategic allocation of trials.
    • Provides vendor oversight for site monitoring activities.
  • Business Acumen and Engagement:
    • Establishes and develops strong professional relationships with active/potential clinical investigators.
    • Cross-functional collaboration to align priorities and deliver the portfolio.
    • Maintains therapeutic and technical expertise to enable scientific discussions with investigators.
    • Serves as a communication 'bridge' between sites, vendors, and organizations.
    • Influences and challenges factors to improve clinical research delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in pharmaceutical industry and/or clinical research, with strong working knowledge of Good Clinical Practice.
  • Therapeutic expertise and knowledge of clinical research landscape; ability to acquire and maintain expertise to support portfolio needs.
  • Strong self-management and organizational skills; ability to manage workload, set goals, and prioritize tasks effectively.
