Job Overview
  We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our team of Claims and Specialist personnel. This leadership role involves guiding injured workers towards durable return to work outcomes and promoting safe and timely returns to work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of experienced professionals in the workers compensation space, focusing on driving exceptional performance and results.
  • Contribute to shaping our company culture through high levels of people engagement, recognizing the importance of diversity and increasing employee satisfaction.
  • Participate in workforce planning and recruitment activities to ensure optimal team composition.
  • Monitor service performance by establishing clear goals and expectations, tracking progress against goals, ensuring timely feedback, appropriate support, addressing performance deficiencies promptly and recognizing and rewarding exceptional performance.
  • Mentor your team, providing coaching and professional support to help them reach their full potential.
  • Analyse team performance trends and projections, implementing remedial action to resolve issues as required.
  • Promote a culture that ensures compliance with business processes.
  • Identify areas for improvement within the team and the business, taking proactive steps to enhance outcomes for customers and employees.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in team management/leadership in a fast-paced environment or significant experience in workers compensation claims management and coaching.
  • Knowledge of general business and administrative practices, including managing cost-effective business activities.
  • Experience in managing performance using qualitative and quantitative metrics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with diverse stakeholders.
