The hospital is situated in the North West corridor of Sydney and operated by a prominent provider of private healthcare. With 277 beds, our facility accommodates high acuity needs, complemented by a fully equipped Emergency Department.
The Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care, educate patients on their health management, and lead quality improvement projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering safe, evidence-based standards of nursing care
- Providing education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
- Leading successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes
- Collaborating with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
- Acting as a role model for Safe Practice
Requirements:
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Minimum of 3 years surgical experience
- Working with Children check
- Specialty nursing experience - general adult surgery - Bariatrics, Colorectal, Plastics
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
