Marine Conservation Position

We are seeking a skilled Marine Ranger to join our team in the Kimberley Region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver programs for park services, conservation, and research, including visitor risk management and compliance patrols.
  • Maintain and skipper departmental vessels and upkeep equipment.
  • Develop and deliver education and interpretive works programs.

Selection Criteria

  • Ability to participate in operational plans and works programs associated with visitor management and natural resource management.
  • Knowledge of vessel operations and logistics, or experience as a skipper of vessels up to 12 metres in length.
  • Good interpersonal skills for patrol and enforcement activities, and liaison with the public, tourism operators, and other stakeholders.
