Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to contribute to cutting-edge projects in gene editing and therapeutic development.

The successful applicant will have expertise in molecular biology, cell culture, and mouse handling techniques.

This role is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of CRISPR technology, genetic disease therapeutics, mammalian gene drive, neuroscience, and genetically engineered mouse model development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform molecular biology techniques including plasmid preparation, molecular cloning, nucleic acid extraction, PCR, qPCR, RT-PCR, ddPCR, Western blot, and IVT.
  • Maintain cell cultures, perform transfections, and conduct FACS analysis.
  • Conduct mouse handling and experimental work including intraperitoneal and retro-orbital injections, tissue collection, genotyping, and other in vivo procedures.
  • Develop laboratory innovation and training programs to learn and optimize new techniques, as well as mentor students in laboratory skills.
  • Manage laboratory operations by maintaining a well-organized lab space, ordering reagents and consumables, and ensuring lab stocks are replenished.
