About the Role:
Job SummaryThis position is responsible for providing orthopaedic casting and appliance applications in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have completed Australian Institute of Orthopaedic Technologies (AIOT) training modules, theory exams, and practical assessments level 1-4 as provided by Queensland Health.
The successful applicant will work under direct supervision to conduct orthopaedic casting and appliance applications in consultation with Medical Officers and the multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete AIOT training modules, theory exams, and practical assessments level 1-4 as provided by Queensland Health.
- Conduct orthopaedic casting and appliance applications in consultation with Medical Officers and the multidisciplinary team under direct supervision.
- Provide education and information on orthopaedic casting and appliances and their care to patients and/or carers/guardians under direct supervision.
