An exciting opportunity exists for a Supervisor Plaster Technicians to support CAs at both CA2, CA3 and CA4 level to provide care across numerous services including acute inpatient services, subacute inpatient and outpatient services, outpatient clinics and community-based Post Acute Care and Transition Care programs and are located across the various facilities of the SCHHS (Gympie Hospital, Nambour Hospital, Caloundra Hospital, Maleny Hospital, Sunshine Coast University Hospital).

**Key Responsibilities include**:
This role works collaboratively with NUM to complete work force planning and operationally manage the Clinical Assistant (CA) workforce within the Orthopaedic Plaster Room at SCUH.
This role will work directly with the Nursing staff, Medical Staff, Operational staff, Administration staff and other members of the Specialist Outpatient Multidisciplinary team.
Provide professional leadership and mentoring to support a team of Orthopaedic Technician staff.
Undertake high level specialised plaster duties with clinical competence while working within the Certificate IV in Cast Technology guidelines as defined by the Clinical Assistant Role Manual (CARM) / Operational Services Manual (OSM).
