Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to join our Deal Advisory and Infrastructure practice.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Financial Modelling team to develop cutting-edge financial models for major infrastructure projects, greenfields projects, project financing, and M&A transactions.

  • Develop best-in-class financial models in pre-bid, bid, and post-bid phases.
  • Review and refine financial models supporting large, high-profile transactions in Australia and globally.
  • Engage with clients across various sectors, including infrastructure and the energy transition.
  • Lead client engagements or discrete workstreams within a larger engagement, coaching and developing junior staff and client resources.
  • Participate in tailored learning and development from senior financial modellers.
  • Enjoy a flexible work environment with options for home, office, and client hub work arrangements.
  • Contribute to the development and provision of financial analysis to interpret model outputs on major projects.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong numeracy with attention to detail.
  • Ability to balance and prioritise tasks within a high-performing team.

Desirable Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in developing best-practice financial models in Excel from scratch.
  • Previous experience in Big 4 audit or advisory.
  • Other consulting experience in any context.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree in commerce, econometrics, accounting, or engineering.
