Medical Workforce Improvement Leader

Join a dynamic healthcare team to drive medical workforce improvement initiatives. We're seeking an experienced leader to leverage data and analytics to optimize service delivery, improve quality, and enhance staff wellbeing.

This key role will involve collaborating with stakeholders to develop and maintain performance indicators, managing a small team focused on rostering and payroll inquiries, and leading the development of resources to support departments in developing performance indicators.

As a Medical Workforce Improvement Leader, you'll possess strong analytical skills, leadership experience, and a commitment to continuous improvement. You'll be responsible for overseeing compliance with locum management systems, engaging with stakeholders, and maintaining a culture of accountability and service excellence.

The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications or extensive experience in information and performance management, technology using SQL, Excel, and Power BI. They'll also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain highly professional relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain performance indicators for complex rosters that meet staff and medical service needs and best practice roster guidelines.
  • Manage a small team focused on rostering and payroll inquiries.
  • Lead the development of resources to support departments in developing performance indicators.
  • Oversee compliance with locum management systems.
  • Engage with stakeholders to drive collaboration and improvements.
  • Maintain a culture of accountability and service excellence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or extensive experience in information and performance management.
  • Experience in technology using SQL, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex information rapidly and accurately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain highly professional relationships with key stakeholders.
