We are currently seeking a Senior Supervisor - Mechanical to lead mechanical construction activities during the installation and commissioning phases of a ground-breaking infrastructure initiative.

About The Project

The Kidston Pumped Storage Hydro Project is Australia's first pumped hydro energy storage system, located at the site of a former gold mine in North Queensland. This project sets new benchmarks in sustainability and clean energy innovation.

Job Description
  • Coordinate daily site-based mechanical construction activities
  • Ensure compliance with an integrated management system and project execution plan
  • Maintain strict health, safety, and environmental compliance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Provide leadership to mechanical subcontractors and teams on site
  • Collaborate closely with project engineers and planners to align site works with project milestones
Key Requirements
  • Trade qualified or degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in mechanical supervision on major infrastructure or hydro projects
  • In-depth knowledge of health, safety, quality, and project controls in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Strong technical literacy—able to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Solid understanding of integrated management systems and construction standards
