Strategic Financial Planning Manager

The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will play a critical role in driving the company's financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making purposes.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Planning: Support the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis in the annual budgeting process, including developing templates, coordinating inputs from various departments, and consolidating data.
- Forecasting and Planning: Manage rolling forecasts and long-term financial planning, providing variance analysis between actual results, budget, and forecast, highlighting key drivers of performance.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management, analyzing financial performance, including profitability and capital expenditures.
- Business Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of business performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities, supporting business decision-making by providing financial models, sensitivity analysis, and scenario planning.
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of financial analysts, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.
- Analytical, Commercial & Financial Ability: Ability to produce, review, and interpret large data sets and models.
- Formal Qualifications: Formal qualifications in a relevant area and CA/CPA accreditation.
- Experience: Five to seven years' experience in a finance role in a comparable business, with financial services experience desirable but not essential.
- Commercial Acumen: High level of commercial acumen and focus on best practice.
- Self-Awareness: High level of self-awareness and personal effectiveness.
