Technical Product Owner Role

This key leadership position bridges deep technical design with systems integration, customer co-development, and program delivery. The successful candidate will drive the development and delivery of a compact, high-performance sensing platform into real-world evaluation environments.

The role spans system-level design, encompassing hardware, optics, electronics, software, and embedded integration. The Technical Product Owner will provide hands-on technical guidance while mentoring and coordinating the engineering team.

A key aspect of this role is making informed trade-offs to balance experimental performance, manufacturability, and field robustness. Strong communication skills are essential, as the Technical Product Owner will translate between physics, engineering, software, and commercial needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the system-level design of a quantum magnetometry device
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team

  • Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring reliable delivery
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in systems engineering for high-tech hardware products
  • Proven track record delivering functional prototypes into field use
  • Demonstrated ability to engage directly with customers and partners

  • Strong interdisciplinary communication skills
Desirable Skills
  • Prod or photonics-based instrumentation
