About the Role

The Senior Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will play a key role in providing advice and support to the HSE Lead and team in driving HSE performance through alignment and delivery of programs and initiatives, and identification and management of HSE risks across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and interpret HSE legislation, policies, and regulations to provide direction and advice that meet statutory, corporate, and client objectives and responsibilities.
  • Support the leadership team in driving HSE performance and implementing HSE management systems.
  • Lead incident investigations, reporting, and presenting outcomes.
  • Design and deploy critical risk and HSE culture change initiatives to increase the focus and attention on HSE in the business.
  • Manage multiple competing stakeholders' demands in a time-critical environment.
About You

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • 10 years' plus experience in HSE roles in high-risk industries for major resources sites within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Chemical industries, preferably with Offshore understanding.
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant HSE legislation, including AS/NZS 4801 and ISO 9001.
  • Demonstrated capability to develop and implement HSE management systems.
  • Ability to collaborate as part of a supportive high-performing team, providing mentoring and coaching to individuals.
