About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Service Technician to join our workshop team in Malaga, WA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overhauling and testing hydraulic components, refurbishing power units, and assisting with installation and commissioning of larger hydraulic systems.

You will work closely with the Service Supervisor and broader service team to deliver high-quality repairs, diagnostics, and reporting that meet our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Rebuild and test hydraulic components, including pumps, motors, and wheel drives
  • Refurbish hydraulic power units to a high standard
  • Perform fault diagnosis and create detailed product analysis reports
  • Assist in installation and commissioning of hydraulic systems as required
  • Order and prepare required parts for each job, perform relevant testing, and identify any further repairs
  • Prepare service quotations and maintain accurate documentation
  • Upload service-related documents, including reports, vendor quotes, and delivery dockets
  • Ensure quality standards are met through clear documentation and customer communication
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Key Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate technical knowledge and hands-on experience with hydraulic components
  • Have experience with workshop-based hydraulic repairs and rebuilds
  • Be reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working both independently and in a team
  • Maintain strong attention to quality, safety, and detail
  • Have strong communication skills and long-term career aspirations
