At The Centre for Positive Behaviour Support (CPBS), we are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team in Hobart. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in conducting assessments, writing behavioural support plans and programmes, and providing direct behavioural interventions in individual and group sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavioural assessments and develop behaviour analysis support plans.
- Provide direct behavioural interventions in individual and group sessions.
- Support Behaviour Therapists and Support Workers in implementing plans.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders.
- Work with professionals to develop and implement individualised client goals and checklists.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and/or postgraduate qualifications related to Positive Behaviour Support.
- Proven experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, Behaviour Analyst, or Behaviour Therapist.
- High-level oral and written communication skills.
- Effective time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Current NDIS Practitioner ID, NDIS Worker Screening, and Working with Children Check.
- Valid driver's licence and vehicle.
