Job Title: Tax Leadership Professional
">Tax Management and Advisory RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing taxation compliance activities across various jurisdictions, providing timely and accurate advice on corporate transactions, and leading the implementation of the company's Tax Risk Management and Governance Framework.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimise the company's tax outcomes within established parameters.
- Provide expert guidance on tax-related matters, including corporate transactions, functions, policies, and compliance.
- Lead the review of major contracts to identify potential tax consequences and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Manage relationships with Revenue Offices, external auditors, and tax advisors to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to embed tax awareness and support commercial decision-making.
- Lead a team of taxation professionals and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
We are seeking a highly skilled taxation professional with expertise in corporate tax and experience in managing complex compliance and advisory matters. The ideal candidate will have:
- Significant experience in corporate tax roles, with a strong working knowledge of Australian taxation law.
- Exposure to international taxation considerations, such as permanent establishments and transfer pricing.
- A sound understanding of Tax Governance and Risk Management Frameworks.
- Ability to partner with business leaders on the tax impacts of contracts, transactions, and strategic decisions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex tax concepts in a clear and practical way.
- Experience leading and developing a team, with a collaborative and proactive leadership style.
- CA/CPA professional membership (mandatory), with a Graduate Diploma in Taxation highly regarded.
