Janitorial Maintenance Specialist

Clean Vibes is seeking a Janitorial Maintenance Specialist to maintain cleanliness and safety in designated areas.

About the Role:

  • Perform site cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces and equipment, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
  • Manage waste and recycling materials, ensuring proper disposal in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain outdoor areas, including walkways and equipment, if applicable, ensuring they are clean and free of hazards.
  • Ensure all cleaning procedures are conducted safely and efficiently, reporting any hazards or concerns to the supervisor immediately.
  • Inspect and maintain cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies, identifying malfunctions or damage for prompt repairs or replacements.
  • Keep track of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed, maintaining accurate records of inventory and usage.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning activities meet quality and safety standards, making recommendations for improvement where necessary.
  • Adhere to eco-friendly cleaning practices and promote waste reduction, contributing to a sustainable work environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in janitorial maintenance or a related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment, including best practices for sanitization and waste management.
  • Able to work independently and follow instructions, with excellent attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy objects if required, with strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
  • Valid and recent police check, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
