About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Youth Psychiatrist to join our team as a Clinical Leader in Mental Health. This exciting opportunity will see you providing clinical leadership and specialty psychiatry services within a dedicated Child and Youth Mental Health Service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical governance and support to the multidisciplinary team
  • Psychiatric assessment, treatment, and management of young people living with mental illness and supporting their families and carers
  • Supervision, training, and education for registrars, junior medical staff, medical students, and other professional staff
  • Quality improvement and research activities
  • Participation in the after-hours on-call roster and ECT roster as required
