Job Overview

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with advanced applications in power grid management. You will be responsible for leading projects and providing technical support to customers throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead projects in power grid management and serve as a technical support expert.
  • Implement control systems at electric utilities and participate in design, planning, and execution of ADMS projects.
  • Support testing events with customers and work closely with development teams to troubleshoot, prioritize, and test product changes.
  • Interface with GIS and CIS teams to extract, translate, and load electrical network models and customer data.
  • Configure and integrate software components to meet contract requirements and provide training to customers on system operation.
  • Provide technical support to resolve issues observed on live systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; degree in Electrical Engineering, Power System Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Power System Engineering role including Outage Management System and Switch Order Management Application Engineering role.
  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex systems issues in software applications.
  • Knowledge of system designs, computer systems, engineering practices, and control systems.
  • Understanding of Electric Distribution Power Systems and modeling is an advantage (Load Flow Studies, FLISR, and VVC/VVO).
  • Familiarity with electric utilities operations and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and context switch between multiple tasks.
