About the Role

The Coordinator, Mission and Ministry will work together with the wider CYM team to develop and deliver a faith formation program for young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver mission (outreach) programs to proclaim the Good News
  • Develop and deliver ministry (internal) programs that train, support, and enhance the lives of young people in the Archdiocese of Perth
  • Support parish youth and young adult groups
  • Assist in parish and diocesan youth events
  • Liaise with clergy, schools, other agencies, and movements

Requirements
  • Experience in Mission and Ministry work
  • In-depth understanding of the Catholic Faith and Church practices
  • Ability to research, develop, deliver, and evaluate programs for youth initiatives
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Ability to recruit and work effectively with multiple teams of volunteers
What We Offer

A valid Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance, and Western Australian Driver's Licence is required
