Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Childcare Educator to join our team. As an integral member of our childcare services, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children.

The Role:

This is a casual position working after school hours (2:30pm to 6:00pm) and during holidays up to 6 hours per day. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering daily quality activities that are safe, fun, stimulating, and carry educational value
  • Supervising and supporting children
  • Preparing and serving healthy food options
  • Creating an engaging and happy environment for children
  • Building meaningful relationships with colleagues, children, families, school leaders, and the community

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An engaging and warm personality
  • A strong focus on child safety and appreciation for mandatory reporting
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Certificate III or higher in Children's Services, Early Childhood, School Aged care (or studying towards) or equivalent
  • Working with Children Check (willing to obtain)
  • HLTAID012 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training (or willing to obtain)
  • Child Protection Training Certificate
