About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lifestyle and Community Coordinator I to join our team at Bupa Aged Care. As a key member of our care home team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of person-centered leisure and lifestyle programs that promote holistic wellbeing for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of recreational activity officers to promote emotional and physical rehabilitation through person-centered recreational activities.
  • Provide residents with quality care and support to maintain their skill levels, independence, and mobility.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to plan and organize recreational activity programs that meet individual resident needs and preferences.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and work health and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Cert IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or degree-level qualifications.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an aged or community care setting.
  • Senior First Aid Certificate and ability to solve problems independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes.
