Graduate Civil Engineer Role Overview

Stantec is seeking talented Graduates to join our 2-year graduate development program in the Community Development team.

As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will be exposed to unique and enriching mentoring, provided with technical support and encouragement, and gain experience in site inspections and construction contracts.

Our graduate program provides opportunities to take your career offshore, participate in fun activities to build your network, and work collaboratively with colleagues from other disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working alongside a team of engineers, designers, and project managers to deliver quality engineering and technical activities.
  • Participating in meetings with clients and other consultants, and contractors to facilitate effective project coordination.
  • Completing design calculations and records within time and budget restraints.
  • Conducting site visits to observe and monitor construction activities, providing valuable insights for ongoing design projects.
Requirements:
  • Civil Engineering degree and passion for the field.
  • Commitment to improving the world we live in, seizing environmental challenges, and coming up with solutions that benefit generations to come.
  • Personal leadership qualities and drive to achieve.
