About the Role

Lismore City Council is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the restoration efforts in the Northern Rivers region.

This is a critical role that requires strong leadership and project management skills to oversee the delivery of multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with managing contractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory, legislative, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Manage negotiations, communications, and expectations with contractors and stakeholders.
  • Maintain a strong safety focus and flexibility to operate on large projects or between smaller projects.
  • Lead the team in the strategic execution of landslip and pavement projects.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, civil, or project management.
  • Experience in managing and leading project teams.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in project management are desirable.
  • Experience in community infrastructure, earthworks, drainage, road construction, and buildings.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and ability to interpret and apply contracts.
