Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Support Officer to join our team at Regional Express (Rex) as a Leading Hand. This is a full-time role that requires a strong background in aviation operations and a proven track record of leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Aircraft Support Officers to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our domestic B737 fleet.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of ground support staff, including apron functions, towing, and cargo handling.
  • Provide operational assistance to the Ramp Manager and other departments as required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant aviation regulations.
  • Manage staff overtime and ensure equitable allocation of duties.
  • Oversee catering and freight functions on the apron.
  • Liaise with other departments and suppliers to manage day-to-day operations.
  • Conduct basic audits to ensure continuous improvement and compliance.
  • Perform other tasks as required by the Ramp Manager.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role in the aviation industry.
  • Strong knowledge of aviation operations and regulations.
  • Able to obtain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card) and airside driver's license.
  • High standard of professionalism and physical fitness.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and commit to on-time performance.
  • Willingness to work additional hours as operationally required.
