We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Educator to join our academic team. The successful applicant will contribute to the delivery of high-quality educational programs and clinical placements, working collaboratively with academic teams, clinical partners, and allied health professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver engaging clinical education sessions for students and healthcare staff.
- Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, guidance, and support to students and/or supervisors during clinical placements.
- Offer timely, constructive feedback – both verbal and written.
- Establish and maintain effective partnerships with government, healthcare, education, and allied health stakeholders.
- Identify gaps in clinical education and practice, contributing to quality improvement strategies across allied health services.
- Coordinate access to appropriate clinical training tools, equipment, and technologies to support effective learning across disciplines.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with clinical practice advancements and educational methodologies.
- Demonstrated clinical experience (2-3 years minimum) in an allied health setting with a strong understanding of evidence-based practice and professional standards.
- Current registration or professional accreditation with the relevant regulatory body or professional association.
- Experience in clinical supervision, mentoring, teaching, or preceptorship roles within clinical and/or academic settings.
- A well-developed understanding of clinical education frameworks, assessment strategies, and competency-based education.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
