Centre Technician Position

Job Summary:

The Centre Technician role is a dynamic opportunity to join our team and contribute to delivering exceptional customer service.

As a key member of our Service & Supply Centre, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support to customers, resolving issues efficiently, and maintaining a positive work environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Support daily operations of the Hose Service Centre
  • Learn hose assembly, machine/weld, and pipe-bending procedures
  • Attend to customers' needs at the counter and on the phone
  • Data entry and stock control duties
  • Pick-up and deliver goods as required

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A strong understanding of customer service principles
  • Good telephone manner and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to carry out instructions and operate machinery accurately
  • Knowledge of the industry or similar type
  • Mechanical background and current Manual Driver's License
  • Computer literacy and good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Well-presented and groomed appearance
  • Strong work ethic and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and problem-solve
  • Desire to be a team player and collaborate with colleagues
  • Understanding of WHS and Safe Work Practices
