The Aged Care Team Supervisor is essential in delivering exceptional care to residents. This role involves supporting the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse in overseeing and organizing care for residents, ensuring that their individual needs, preferences, and aspirations are met in a nurturing environment where they feel respected and valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer emotional and social support to residents, ensuring a holistic and person-centered approach to care.
- Assist in coordinating care requirements for residents, including medication management, nutrition, hydration, and pressure care.
- Lead and supervise care activities during shifts within designated areas.
- Execute medication-related tasks in compliance with qualifications, state regulations, and organizational policies.
Candidate Profile
- Relevant qualifications include:
- Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (with APRHA Registration for medication administration) OR
- Certificate IV in Ageing Support (including HLTHPS007 Administer & Monitor Medicines) OR
- Certificate III in Individual Support with a commitment to pursue necessary qualifications.
- Demonstrated commitment to integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with effective listening abilities.
- Proficient in utilizing information technology and willing to learn new skills as needed.
- Current National police check.
- Understanding of WH&S and Infection Control protocols.
- A passion for contributing to a team dedicated to caring for others in a mission-driven organization.
