Therapeutic Support Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Therapeutic Support Specialist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with individuals with occupational and speech therapy needs, delivering Allied Health support in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage caseloads and deliver therapeutic services
  • Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical functions
  • Formulate treatment goals based on assessments
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions
  • Support adaptations to environments such as home, school, or work
  • Recommend Assistive Technologies to promote independence
  • Stay compliant with current legislation

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proactive and motivated to learn and improve
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Passion for working in the disability sector
