Job Title: Environmental Field Technician Traineeship

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Environmental Field Technician Trainee. This is a two-year traineeship that will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in environmental monitoring, data collection and reporting, and laboratory practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect air, dust, soil, and water samples from mining sites, power stations, and industrial facilities
  • Record and report data, process samples, complete pre-start checks, and attend site inductions
  • Liaise with clients and use spreadsheets and maps to support fieldwork
Requirements
  • Hardworking, trustworthy, committed, and reliable attitude
  • Positive attitude and genuine interest in the trade
  • Ability to work in a team and autonomously
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Technically minded with a high attention to detail
  • Driver's licence – Open licence preferable / P2 minimum
  • Flexibility required for occasional after-hours call-outs
  • White Card or willingness to obtain
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol check
