Our centre in Bossley Park is seeking an experienced secondary tutor to join our team of educators.

About the Role

As a tutor at Kip McGrath, you will be responsible for teaching students using our proven methodology, which focuses on literacy and numeracy skills.

You will work in a small group setting, helping students to grow their confidence and meet their goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Teaching students using the Kip McGrath methodology
  • Tutoring students in a positive and caring manner
  • Using our state-of-the-art software to plan and conduct lessons
  • Being available to commit to every class scheduled
  • Developing and maintaining a positive relationship with students and parents
  • Providing feedback to parents
  • Working up to 2-3 sessions a day, Monday to Friday
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A teaching degree or be in the final year of your degree
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • A friendly and professional manner
  • Proven ability to work well in a team environment
  • Confidence using software and computers
  • A genuine love for learning and teaching
  • Reliable and strong organisational skills
