About the Role

We are seeking an experienced secondary tutor to join our team at Kip McGrath Education Centre in Bossley Park. As a tutor, you will be responsible for teaching students using our proven methodology, tutoring students in a positive and caring manner, and using our state-of-the-art software to plan and conduct face-to-face lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach students using the Kip McGrath methodology
  • Tutor students in a positive and caring manner to promote self-esteem and self-worth
  • Use our state-of-the-art software to plan and conduct face-to-face lessons
  • Be available to commit to every class you are scheduled to teach
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with students and parents
  • Keep an accurate record of student progress and goals online
  • Provide verbal and written feedback to parents
  • Work up to 2-3 sessions a day (Monday to Friday)

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need a teaching degree or be in the final year of your degree, a current Working with Children Check, and a friendly, professional, and personable manner. You will also need to demonstrate a positive and vibrant personality, confidence using software and computers, and a genuine love for learning and teaching.
