Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Test Lead to lead our testing efforts for data-related projects, including data warehouses, ETL pipelines, and analytics platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data testing, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality data solutions.

This role involves ensuring data quality, reliability, and accuracy by developing and executing comprehensive test strategies and plans. The Data Test Lead will be responsible for leading the testing efforts, managing and mentoring a team of data testers, and collaborating with project managers, business analysts, and developers to understand requirements and define test cases.

The successful candidate will have excellent customer interfacing skills, strong attention to detail, and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills. They will also have experience working with offshore teams to facilitate project work, ability to drive Service Improvement programs, and involvement in training and knowledge management to lower-level specialists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and document test strategies, plans, and schedules for data testing projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and developers to understand requirements and define test cases.
  • Perform data validation, data transformation, and reconciliation tests.
  • Develop and execute automated and manual test cases to verify the quality of ETL processes, data integration, and reporting solutions.
  • Manage and mentor a team of data testers, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Assign tasks, review work, and provide feedback to maintain high testing standards.
  • Identify opportunities for test automation and implement tools/scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Prepare detailed test reports and recommendations for improving data quality.
