About this Opportunity

The role of a Specialist Employment Mentor involves supporting clients with intensive mentoring to facilitate their transition into employment.

This is a full-time, ongoing position that covers the Perth North region. Key responsibilities include:

  • Utilizing Microsoft Office and achieving a typing speed of 30 words per minute;
  • Demonstrating strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills;
  • Working effectively with diverse clients, employers, and staff members;
  • Representing our organization to stakeholders including clients, funding bodies, and Indigenous Communities;
  • Understanding local labor markets and case management frameworks;
  • Sales and customer service experience, particularly in federally funded employment programs and funding models;
  • Mentoring Indigenous clients and working with individuals involved in rehabilitation or employment settings;
  • Operating in an outcome-based, high-pressure environment;
  • Possessing a Certificate IV in Employment Services or Career Development; and
  • Holding a current driver's license and vehicle for regional travel.
