Lead Sports Coach Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to lead sports sessions for children aged 5-12 years old of varied abilities.

The role involves planning, designing, and delivering engaging sports programs that cater to diverse skill levels and interests. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and adapt sessions to meet the needs of all participants.

  • Sport Session Planning: Design and implement sports sessions that promote inclusivity, fun, and engagement among children.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Lead groups of children in a safe and supportive environment, providing guidance and feedback to enhance session delivery.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure a positive experience, and collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve session delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver inclusive sports sessions for children aged 5-12 years old.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and guardians.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver engaging sports programs.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience working with children in a sports or coaching capacity.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities, and demonstrate flexibility in a dynamic team environment.
