The Opportunity

Monash University's School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine is seeking a highly skilled and experienced academic to join their team as a Sessional Academic in the Healthcare and Financial Management Unit.

This is a casual position that will involve working with the Unit Coordinator to support lectures, tutorials, and marking in the Healthcare and Financial Management unit, as well as its sister unit. The successful candidate will have a strong background in healthcare accounting and a minimum of two years of professional practice experience since CPA graduation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Unit Coordinator in lectures, tutorials, and marking in the Healthcare and Financial Management unit and its sister unit.
  • Contribute to the development of educational roles and participate in professional development activities.
  • Work collaboratively with the Unit Coordinator and other academic staff to achieve the unit's goals and objectives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong background in healthcare accounting.
  • A minimum of two years of professional practice experience since CPA graduation.
  • Experience in providing accounting and financial management education.
