The Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our project teams based in Western Australia. As a Project Engineer, you will provide technical engineering support to the project, including technical queries, inspections, and interpretation of design deliverables. You will also interface with other project functions, such as quality, commercial, construction, and project controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical engineering support to the project, including technical queries, inspections, and interpretation of design deliverables;
  • Interface with other project functions, such as quality, commercial, construction, and project controls;
  • Assist the Senior Project Engineer and Project Manager with project management tasks as required;
  • Perform other general duties that may be necessary to support the project.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Tertiary qualifications in one of the following disciplines: Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Electrical Engineering;
  • Sound knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and cost control tools;
  • Proficient knowledge in MS Office suite;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Ideal experience in a similar role, preferably in the mining or oil and gas sector.
