Opportunity to Shape Commercialisation

We are seeking a seasoned professional to play a critical role in guiding commercialisation opportunities from early-stage identification to pre-seed stage and beyond. The successful candidate will thrive in complex environments, have a passion for innovation and commercialisation, and be motivated by helping researchers and founders translate ideas into impactful ventures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and support a pipeline of commercialisation opportunities through investment and new company formation
  • Guide initiatives from early-stage identification to pre-seed stage and beyond
  • Manage processes associated with investment governance and provide strategic investment advice
Qualifications and Experience Required
  • A postgraduate degree in science, technology, and/or business with demonstrated experience in commercialising university research
  • Experience in managing and curating a technology pipeline in concert with stakeholders
  • Experience providing recommendations and advice at senior management level
  • Start-up creation or board experience to guide and assist founders and their early-stage technology companies
  • Complex venture/deal structuring experience to ensure models of translation are fit-for-purpose
