Job Opportunity: Lead Test Director

A seasoned professional with 20+ years of experience in banking and financial services is sought for a high-profile position. The successful candidate will lead testing strategy and delivery, overseeing end-to-end projects.

  • This role entails managing large-scale testing across multi-vendor environments, integrations, infrastructure, and security.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering enterprise releases involving numerous projects and applications, ensuring smooth rollouts with minimal risk.
  • The selected individual will be responsible for embedding Agile-based QE solutions, driving automation, service virtualisation, and shift-left quality practices.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Led senior test leadership roles (Test Director, Portfolio Test Manager) in Cards and Acquiring, overseeing end-to-end testing strategy and delivery.
  • Managed testing across multi-vendor environments, integrations, infrastructure, and security.
  • Delivered enterprise releases involving 25+ projects and 250+ applications, ensuring smooth rollouts with minimal risk.
  • Embedded Agile-based QE solutions across payments platforms, driving automation, service virtualisation, and shift-left quality practices.
Requirements:
  • Directed testing portfolios for Core Banking, Business Banking, and NextGen transformation programs.
  • Delivered multi-million-dollar testing portfolios, managing large-scale teams (up to 120+ FTEs), including offshore resources (70% offshoring ratio).
  • Oversaw testing of mission-critical banking applications such as Working Capital Services, Payments Transformation, and Business Operations.
  • Built and scaled test frameworks, tooling, and governance models across Waterfall, Agile, and Iterative SDLCs.
  • Introduced robust quality assurance metrics, risk management frameworks, and continuous improvement strategies.
