About the Role

The Melton City Council is seeking a skilled Technical Analyst to join its Innovation & Transformation IT team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in transforming the council's service delivery and enhancing operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to the council's business information systems, including enhancements, patches, and upgrades, as well as end-user support and training.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to the performance, security, continuity, and availability of information systems, and resolve significant technical issues.
  • Investigate and identify the root cause of incidents or IT service delivery problems, and develop plans to remediate these issues.
  • Manage the IT Change control process to execute all changes in a controlled manner.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a tertiary qualification in an Information Technology related field, relevant experience, or a less formal qualification with substantial experience working within a medium-sized corporate environment in the field of information technology.
