About the Role

This temporary full-time position (1.00 FTE or 38 hours per week) will work alongside a part-time Schools Officer, Grounds. You will play a key role in providing a high level of grounds and facilities maintenance, ensuring the school premises are safe and well-maintained.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assist with a range of duties, including clearing and hosing drains and gutters, collection of waste and paper, and immediate action cleaning duties.
  • Liaise with internal and external personnel on issues of lost property and damage to facilities.
  • Coordinate the removal/disposal of rubbish and assist with requirements for significant events such as fetes, plays, and major sporting events.

**Required Qualifications and Skills**

  • Proven ability to work independently and harmoniously within a team environment.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptive, with proven skills in grounds care, general repairs, and maintenance.
