Job Title

Role Overview

This role involves supporting students with disabilities emotionally and physically to integrate into the school community. The successful candidate will be required to communicate class by class, student needs, and emotional wellbeing where possible, actively advocating for the students in the classroom.

  • Support students with disabilities emotionally and physically to integrate into the school community.
  • Routinely assist teachers by communicating class by class, student needs, and emotional wellbeing where possible.
  • Actively advocate for the students in the classroom.

The successful candidate will also be required to assist in minor modifications of work for students in conjunction with teachers, supply teachers with resources and support sheets, and inform teachers of any parent requests communicated via PSD Team leader regarding current student support needs.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Assisting students with disabilities to develop their social and emotional skills.
  2. Providing ongoing support to teachers in identifying and addressing student needs.
  3. Communicating effectively with parents and other stakeholders to ensure seamless support for students.
