Industrial Automation Specialist

Are you a skilled automation engineer looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience with industrial control systems, PLCs, and HMIs?
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented automation engineer to join our team. As an automation engineer at our company, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our MES automation layer and other critical automation systems that support safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial automation and control systems, as well as excellent troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to root cause analysis. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in production, maintenance, and process improvement to ensure seamless production tracking and optimal system performance.
Requirements
- A degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering (or a related field)
- Experience working with industrial control systems (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA)
- Safety as a core value. Understanding of legislative safety requirements
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to root cause analysis
- Familiarity with MES systems, process automation, or data-driven technologies
- The ability to adapt to change and manage competing priorities
- A passion for continuous improvement and digital innovation
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams
