Nurse - Rochedale Gardens

Aveo is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Rochedale Gardens Retirement Living. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, working closely with our dedicated team to ensure the delivery of person-centred care at the highest possible standard.
The OpportunityWe are looking for a Registered Nurse to assist our team with taking shifts on an ad-hoc basis. This is a casual role, with earliest shifts commencing at 7am and concluding at 11pm. You will have the opportunity to work across a number of our neighbouring communities, including Redland Bay and Cleveland.
What We Offer- $52.49/hr (RN) or $39.79/hr (EN) including casual loading + relevant Nurses Award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances + superannuation

- Lead, supervise and educate Personal Care Attendants to ensure the delivery of person-centred care at the highest possible standard
- Ensuring all residents receive general and support services in line with resident contracts and care plans and be accountable for all medication management
- Respond to any first aid and medical emergencies
- Maintain effective inter-personal relationships with residents and wider stakeholders
- Liaise effectively with external service providers who provide care within the community
- Current AHPRA registration and current CPR certificate (required)
- Minimum six (6) months experience in Community Care, Aged Care, Home Care or Retirement Living (highly desired)
- Current Police Check clearance (required, however we can complete for you)
- Minimum two (2) COVID-19 Vaccaintions (required)
