Job Description

The role of the ICT Finance and Shared Services Manager is to lead the development and coordination of the department's contributions to strategic deliverables. This includes working closely with executive leadership, departments, stakeholders, and ministers' offices to shape high-impact budget submissions.

This position is responsible for all operational and financial functions of the Enterprise Technology Branch. It involves managing system processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting the delivery of high-quality technology services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading the development and implementation of systems and processes that support the effective execution of strategic deliverables.
  • Providing strategic leadership and oversight of the Department's contributions to strategic deliverables.
  • Operating with a high-level of integrity and discretion when managing confidential and sensitive information.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • A relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualification in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or a public policy area is desirable.
  • A relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualification in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field such as health or public policy is highly desirable.

Specialist Expertise:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of government budget processes and associated deliverables is highly desirable, particularly within a health or public sector context.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data are highly valued.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment is essential.
