Desktop and Network Support Professional

We are seeking a skilled Desktop and Network Support Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless IT operations by providing exceptional desktop and network support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-level support to desktop users, ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
  • Assist in the management and maintenance of network infrastructure to guarantee business continuity.
  • Utilize remote desktop software to resolve support incidents efficiently and enhance user experience.
  • Manage user accounts and security settings via Active Directory, maintaining enterprise security standards.
  • Perform regular maintenance and repair of hardware, ensuring readiness and functionality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills for Windows OS, a critical component of this role.
  • Experience in Active Directory management to ensure efficient operation of user access and system security.
  • Proficiency in remote desktop software like TeamViewer for efficient remote troubleshooting and support.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration to manage productivity tools and email services effectively.
  • Competence in network configuration and diagnostics to maintain optimal network performance and connectivity.
  • Experience in hardware repair and maintenance for essential support and equipment upkeep.
  • Familiarity with SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) for deploying, managing, and updating enterprise systems.
  • Skills in imaging and reimaging desktop systems for rapid deployment and restoration of systems.
